I have a deep love for solving puzzles. Oftentimes my clients are looking for help in solving a family mystery, finding a link to a rumored famous ancestor, or simply wanting to know who their people are and where they came from. I began digging into my own family history at age fourteen when my father passed away. He had researched our family tree and he told me that when he died, he wanted me to take all of his documents and keep them safe. It was his legacy and meant as a gift for me.Sadly, when I went to pick the paperwork up I found that an aunt had gotten there first. She told me she had burned it all! That began a determined search to discover what it possibly could have been that Auntie was hiding. Retracing Dad’s steps has provided many an “Ah-ha!” moment, put me in touch with many cousins I never knew existed and provided me with a career of helping others. It has been my pleasure to help hundreds of others experience the same satisfaction.
