Refund and Returns Policy

Genealogy services provided through this website are considered a work-for-hire, with fees assessed based on an estimated number of hours required to complete the project.

• Deposit: Upon agreeing to the project estimate, clients are required to pay 50% of the estimated fee upfront. This deposit secures the genealogist’s time and resources for the duration of the project.

• Cancellation and Refunds:

  • Within 24 Hours: Clients may cancel their project within 24 hours of payment. If canceled within this period, the deposit will be refunded, minus a $100 fee to cover the initial consultation and account setup.
  • After 24 Hours: If a cancellation is requested after the 24-hour period, the deposit becomes non-refundable, as resources and time will have been allocated to the project.
